Time to get Creative

Heeeeyyy,

I have been gone for a little while now, even from my shelf. I wanted to address that here as well as give a little insight into who is behind the everlasting creativity, aka Aevum Artistry LOL

Branding nowadays, especially for small businesses, reaches more when it is personal. As someone who has hid behind a mask, quite literally in autistic terms, I figure I can be authentic here. Safety in my writing. You know, where only like... maybe 6 of you know who I am personally, HAH!

So, I still am hiding in a way, but eh. Baby steps, right?

Well, let me get right down to the nitty gritty then; WHO AM I????

GREAT QUESTION! Sit down, buckle up, and we will BOTH find out TOGETHER.

I am a young adult creator who has been making things their entire life. Always dreaming up new things and how I can implement them while making something better. I guess it started when I was around 7 and had the great idea to make dog breath mints. So, I got to work researching what dogs could not have out of human mints. If you want to know, pretty much everything. So that idea did not go far, haha. But fast forward about 20 years, and I have a new creative goal:

POSITIVITY and LOVE

Something we need more of in this world, especially right now. I try not to get political as I am a people pleaser, and I just want everyone to be happy, healthy, and out of my way. HOWEVER, my pattern recognition is being activated from history class in high school and college. While we may feel hopeless some days, it is important to continue to create. Use your pain, anger, or other emotions to assist you in the creation. When you do so, you are not only releasing what is stored inside you, allowing yourself to feel lighter and thus have less on your mind and in your soul to contemplate and worry over, it spreads ideas, truth, and culture.

Just think about how art affects you daily. How does the music you listen to affect your mood or your thoughts? Then the shows that you watch at the end of the day. It all has some effect on your mood and behavior, whether you are aware of it or not. SOOOOO

I say that we create how we feel when we feel it. Release all that energy that does not serve you. No need to worry or obsess on a single thought, person, or event. As everyone loves to say in my life,

"Let it go".

Into my personal life rant, proceed with caution... hehe

Let it go, conceal, don't feel, DONT LET THEM KNOOOOOOOOWWWWWW

That was my motto for so long, I cried when the Frozen movie first came out, and I was around 15. Thinking back on it now, I was pretty young still, so not out of the ordinary. But as a recently diagnosed Autistic human... I have not been able to exist authentically ever. Maybe when I was a baby, because that is the only time it seems that we have unconditional love, even that can waiver depending on genetics and the parents' mental health... (the baby in Europe that was thrown out a window in February; SUPER SAD). After that, there seems to be a reason to treat someone, at the very least, not ideally. That crushes a soul. I don't blame the people around me, many were just children like me trying to find their way in this WACKY world. But all that unknowing discrimination and soft bullying hurt.

"You're so obnoxious" "xxx you are ANNOYING"

From strangers or people very close to you, those words CUT (especially when your best friends are the ones saying them... yep).

It persists into adulthood. HEAVY SIGH

Then, sometimes people do not even grow out of that, continuing to belittle and bully people in their path, all the way into their 90s if they don't lose everyone first. To see a fully grown adult acting like a child, I feel a LOT of things. Anger, frustration, confusion as to how they didn't change, then finally, I get it. Something happened to these people; it's their defense mechanism. Projection. If not, a straight-up mental health issue/condition.

Don't get me wrong here, I understand that life is stressful and MANY, many adults were not taught the correct skills to regulate. Rather than facing their emotions and understanding how to make space, feel them, and release them, people just explode, suppress, and/or brew resentment. Generationally, it compounds. On top of the fact that we are constantly being marketed the next big addiction. Rather than raise a generation of emotionally healthy individuals with the skills to communicate and work together... we soothe ourselves to sleep. I am guilty with my Beatbox sitting next to me, helping me freely write.

DO NOT FEEL SHAME

All that does is complete the cycle and allow it to begin again.

So to round it back to creativity... CREATE

It does not have to be good or anything. It just has to make YOU feel better.

Focus less on what is going wrong and more on what you want to bring.

I'll go first:

I want to bring love to all; carry on the legacy of the modern day Jesus (mini tangent: I met a human with a soul so pure they had $60 to their name after bills and they would CONSTANTLY cover people's tabs when they were short or just brought them personalized gifts and/or food. Just like Jesus, they died way too soon, but I shall carry on the legacy and spread the love to ALL)

SO SHALL YOU by beginning with the MOST IMPORTANT person in your life: YOU.

Self-preservation is not a bad thing; it's nature. Just don't go out of your way to be a Dick.

Sincerely,

The wacky Human who swears they were a tree before a timeline jumper.

Peace, Love, Unity, Respect <3
